Back in 1951 Penfield area Veterans felt the need for a Veterans Group in their township. They applied for a Charter in the American Legion as Braman Post 1229.
Named in Honor of two brother's who served during WW1.
WW1 hit families hard throughout the area. Perhaps no harder than right here in East Penfield, the home of Peter D. B
